Here at Fort Widley Equestrian Centre, we are extremely proud of our horses, so we have created a gallery section for you to meet the horses and get to know them.
We own a beautiful selection of well-schooled horses and ponies, ranging from 10hh to just over 17hh. We have someone for everyone – whether you are taking beginner riding lessons or you are an advanced rider looking to focus on a particular aspect of your riding.
We are privileged to own several advanced school masters, all of whom are available for dressage lessons or jumping lessons. They are regularly schooled and competed.
All of our wonderful horses and ponies have individual weight limits. Which we will match you with an appropriate horse and if you find a horse which you particularly like, the Reception Team is more than happy to add this ‘request’ to your details. We try to meet all horse ‘requests’ but we cannot guarantee this for all lessons as we limit their work loads and they require days off.
Every horse at Fort Widley is carefully selected, they are all special and there really is the perfect steed for everyone from steady confidence givers to show jumpers and more!
Our horses really are a pleasure to ride, and they all get the best care from our knowledgeable team.
